The Oslo-listed firm will pocket $60m to provide remotelyoperated vehicle (ROV) and underwater positioning services on board the 3,500-dwt Far Saga (built2001).
As TradeWinds reported yesterday, Petrobras has fixed thevessel for at least six years with options for six more.
Work will be carried out through Subsea 7’s subsidiaryi-Tech.
Currently based in the North Sea, the Far Saga is will beupgraded with a new crane before being mobilised to Brazil in December.
