Subsea 7 scoops Shell cable-lay job worth up to $150m

Norway's Subsea 7 has clinched a pipe-lay deal worth between $50m and $150m off Scotland.

It will work for Shell on the Shearwater Fulmar Gas Line (FGL) re-plumb project about 140 miles east of Aberdeen.

This involves a 37km 24-inch export line, a 14-inch rigid riser, control jumper, subsea structures and associated subsea tie-ins.

Offshore activities are scheduled for 2019.
