Subsea 7 heading to Taiwan for $150m-plus contract

Norway's Subsea 7 has scooped a substantial new wind farm contract in Taiwan.

Its Seaway Offshore Cables (SOC) unit will work on the Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm project for YunNen Wind Power Company.

It will supply and install the export and inner array grid cable system in a deal worth between $150m and $300m.

The Yunlin offshore wind farm is located 8km off the coast of Yunlin County within the Taiwan Strait on the west coast of Taiwan.
