Norwegian oil major Statoil has re-entered the North Sea spot market with a bang on Friday, booking nine ships in Norway and the UK.
Rates for the anchor-handlers, owned by Viking Supply, Boa Offshore, Havila and Siem were mostly quoted at NOK 100,000 ($12,000), NOK 125,000 and NOK 160,000 per day for all duties over 14 days.
But Olympic's 295-bp Olympic Zeus (built 2009) was reported fixed at NOK 220,000.
