Two of the loudest voices calling for consolidation in the offshore sector joined forces this week on a webcast hosted by a major investor.
The "fireside chat" held on Thursday was supposed to feature Tidewater chief executive Quintin Kneen's discussion with top investor Bob Robotti of Robotti & Co.
But about halfway through the discussion, Kristian Siem of Siem Offshore joined to contribute his thoughts on the ailing sector.
