Cosco’s 98,000-dwt Guang Hua Kou (built 2016) will carry the Appomattox semi-submersible from the Korean yard to Ingleside, Texas, a statement said.
No financial terms were disclosed for the contract, which is part of an enterprise frame agreement between Cosco and Shell.
The Cosco newbuilding is due for delivery next year.
