Shearwater GeoServices is to conduct an offshore survey in the Barents Sea on behalf of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).
The one-month contract comprises seismic data acquisition and full data processing both onboard and onshore, commencing in the third quarter.
Survey work will be conducted by Shearwater's vessel Amazon Conqueror (built 2015), which is equipped with Isometrix technology.
Data will be processed with Shearwater's proprietary Reveal software, which the NPD uses in-house.
