Norway's Shearwater GeoServices has clinched two 3D seismic survey contracts in West Africa as markets improve.
The geophysical joint venture between GC Rieber Shipping and Rasmussengruppen will acquire data for Genel Energy in the Sidi Moussa license offshore Morocco.
And it has also won a five-month contract for an undisclosed client in West Africa.
"The market outlook is improving, and the two contracts add significantly to Shearwater's backlog for the 2018 summer and autumn seasons," it said.
