Seacat Services has won a long-term deal for offshore wind farm support work.
It said Greater Gabbard Offshore Winds (GGOWL), a joint venture between SSE and Innogy, has awarded it an operations and maintenance deal for the 140-turbine, 504 MW Greater Gabbard development off the coast of Suffolk, UK.
Seacat will provide logistical support, involving the high-speed transfer of technicians and critical equipment to the wind farm from a base at Lowestoft.
