Saudi Aramco has extended its charter of a jack-up drilling rig co-owned by John Fredriksen’s Seadrill and Thailand’s Mermaid Maritime.
The three year extension for the AOD I, worth $80m, will be in direct continuation to the current contract which is scheduled to expire by end of June 2019.
