SAL Heavy Lift is returning to the German flag by re-registering six ships.
The Hamburg-based company said the first unit to make the move will be the 13,000-dwt Svenja (built 2010).
The heavy-lift operation was bought by Germany's Harren & Partner from K Line of Japan this year.
“We are very proud to return to the German Flag,” says Sebastian Westphal, corporate director of ship management at SAL.
