Norway's Rem Offshore has clinched two new charters for offshore wind work, showing how vital the sector is becoming to owners struggling to raise rates for oil and gas work.
The private company, controlled by Age and Fredrik Remoy, said it has won a contract for the 4,800-dwt platform supply vessel Rem Trader (built 2012) to operate on the Saint Brieuc wind farm off France.
