The contract with the Italian offshore services contractor for the 117m long MT 6022 L design vessel, which cost NOK 580m ($97m), has two further yearly options.
Rem Offshore also says it has entered a new charter agreement for the 4,500-dwt MPSV Rem Poseidon (built 2009) with Adams Offshore for three years.
The Adams charter deal has a further two six months options after its firm period ends in November 2017.
