Norway’s Rem Offshore has continued its fleet comeback by paying another bargain price for a quality vessel during the sector’s harsh downturn.
Last week, Rem revealed its purchase of the 5,400-dwt platform supply vessel Lewek Aquarius (built 2012) from EMAS Offshore, which is part of Singapore’s crisis-struck Ezra Holdings.
The Lewek Aquarius marks the seventh bargain vessel to come under Rem’s wing since 2017 and, out of those, it is the second ship to carry Ezra’s fleet name.
