OSV scrapping rates are picking up in 2018 as owners realise old vessels have to go in the offshore slump.
Figures from VesselsValue show 153% more ships have gone for recycling in the first three months of this year than in the comparable period of 2017.
A total of 43 OSVs have been scrapped to 31 March, against only 17 the year before.
