Haugesund-based Ostensjo Rederi has signed a letter of intent for the construction of four vessels to service the commissioning and operation of offshore wind farms.
The commissioning service operation vessels (CSOV) are to be constructed at the Spanish shipyard Astilleros Gondan which has delivered 13 newbuildings to Ostensjo.
The Norwegian company has been working in the offshore wind market since 2016.
