In a statement the Nasdaq-listedcontractor said the Eirik Raude (built 2002) has been hired for a six-well programme with anestimated duration of approximately 260 days.
Ocean Rig indicated the project islinked to wells off the Falkland Islands and is scheduled to commence in thefirst quarter of 2015.
While the company didn’t identify thecounterparty by name it pointed out that the estimated backlog amounts toapproximately $165m.
