Three Norwegian shipping companies have formed a new venture to cover the entire offshore wind farm supply chain.
Solstad Offshore and DeepOcean Norway have set up Windstaller Alliance with Kjell Inge Rokke's contracting company Aker Solutions to offer power companies a "one-stop shop" in a growing sector.
The renewables venture is described as a "non-incorporated, asset-light" operation, with no joint ownership or liabilities for vessels or other assets, except for specifically agreed projects.
