Oceanteam says it has started an effort to develop a restructuring plan as it struggles under the weight of the offshore sector slump.
The Oslo-listed offshore vessel owner says it is aiming to put together a plan that preserves value and brings financial flexibility.
Talks have already begun with banks, and the company plans to begin discussions with bondholders immediately.
"Oceanteam has initiated constructive dialogue with its stakeholders to shape its financial restructuring process and improve the financial flexibility in today's challenging market situation," said the Amsterdam-headquartered outfit.
