Ocean Yield has splashed out more than $100m to further diversify its portfolio with the addition of two platform supply vessels (PSVs) from BP Shipping.
The Oslo-listed company said it is paying $105.4m for the 4,500-dwt N S Orla and N S Frayja (both built 2014).
Both ships are on 15-year charters to Aker BP at a daily rate of $17,253, giving an annual contribution to Ebitda of $12.6m.
