Norway's Odfjell family has pulled the plug on an intended takeover of Dutch shipping company Oceanteam after seven months of talks.
The family's Farvatn investment company intended to merge the Oslo-listed operator with its own Norwegian offshore cable contractor Passer Group in a $25m deal announced in March.
This was part of Oceanteam's transition away from oil and gas shipping into the offshore wind market.
