Knutsen OAS Shipping has launched into the international renewable energy market.
The Norwegian shipping giant has teamed up compatriot utility Haugaland Kraft/SKL to form offshore wind developer Deep Wind Offshore (DWO).
The effort is the latest signal of the industrial transition gathering pace in Norway’s maritime sectors.
