Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) has team up with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to develop an offshore wind project off Hokkaido, Japan.
The partners said they had “high ambitions” to be “significant parties” in the Japan offshore wind market, which is expected to experience significant growth.
MHI said it already had a “significant presence” within the offshore wind industry via its joint venture, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind.
