Malaysia's MISC has clinched a $176m conversion contract to provide an FSO to Japanese refiner Idemitsu Kosan.
The unit will be chartered for seven years and work off Vietnam.
The deal has been won by MISC's 51%-owned joint-venture with PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC).
The FSO will be deployed on the Sao Vang and Dai Nguyet development project from mid-2020.
