Mermaid Maritime, the Thai-backed offshore services company, has named Phiboon Buakhunngamcharoen as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
He has held the position of acting CFO since April last year following the departure of then CFO Nha-Vinh Julien Nguyen.
“The board, on the recommendation of the nomination committee, considered that this appointment will contribute to the streamlining and enhancing of financial governance of the company's business units across various regions and hence supporting the growth of the company as a whole as Mr Buakhunngamcharoen will be able to leverage on 12 years of experience with the Mermaid Group,” the company said in a statement.
