Mermaid Maritime is looking to take advantage of increased subsea services demand in Indonesia with the re-charter of a specialist vessel.
The Singapore-listed company has entered into a one-year contract with Miclyn Express Offshore (MEO) for the 80-metre Mermaid Nusantara (built 2010).
The former Windermere was sold from collapsing Hallin Marine to MEO at a bargain price.
Mermaid used the vessel in various subsea projects during 2015 and it could keep it until July 2018, if the extension option of the new deal is exercised.
