Brunei-based manager and charterer SPHI Marine has made a move into shipowning with an order for walk-to-work ships.
Norway’s Hagland Shipbrokers identified the company as the mystery client behind a contract for five newbuildings announced by Fincantieri’s Vard shipyard group last month.
The broker said long-term charters from Shell Brunei back the transaction.
