Maersk’s new offshore-decommissioning joint venture has attracted intense market interest after proving its cost-saving integration concept at a string of large projects in UK waters, according to chief commercial officer Jens Klit Thomsen.
Maersk Decom is set to be its official name, Thomsen said recently at a conference, although Maersk’s group communications department told TradeWinds that a moniker is still under wraps.
