Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) has ordered a windfarm vessel at Cemre shipyard and charterered it to Dong Energy.
LDA said it worked with Salt Ship Design to develop the vessel, which will be delivered from the Turkish yard in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Dong Energy Wind Power of Denmark will use the windfarm service operation vessel on four farms off the coast of Germany to enable crews to maintain the facilities.
