An Augusta Offshore anchor handler boarded by armed guards at Tripoli over the weekend appears to be free.

Asso Ventidue

The vessel has left Tripoli although Libyan officials are said to be on board the 180-tbp Asso Ventidue (built 1999).

The 14,400 HP vessel has an 11 strong crew of eight Italians, two Indians and a Ukrainian who are all reported safe.

The Asso Ventidue is working for the Italian oil company ENI and was carrying out a rig crew change when it was boared by the Libyan guards.
