Kirby Corp plans to boost its massive inland tank barge fleet in a $278m deal with Savage Inland Marine.
The Houston-based Jones Act barge owner has signed an agreement with the Utah-based diversified logistics outfit to acquire all 90 of its inland barges in a deal that is expected to close in the first quarter this year.
