A mystery European shipowner has increased an order for offshore construction vessels (OCVs) at Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group in China.
The ships’ designer, Norway’s Salt Ship Design, said two options have now been declared following the original order in March.
Sources told TradeWinds earlier this year that John Fredriksen’s private Seatankers group may have been behind the deal.
