Belgian contractor and shipowner Jan De Nul has reacted to increasing subsea demand with another order for an extra-large cable-layer.
The sister ship to the 215-loa Fleeming Jenkin, ordered in October, will be built at China Merchants Heavy Industry Jiangsu shipyard.
The Fleeming Jenkin will be delivered in 2026 and has already been booked for its first projects.
