Houston-based Oceaneering International will keep the 10,500-bhpOcean Intervention III (built 2005) for a further year, the Norwegian owner revealedin a statement.

The vessel, which is currently carrying out subsea inspection,maintenance and repair (IMR) work in Angola, has been with Oceaneering since2007.

Island Offshore did not reveal the terms of the deal whichcomes with options for more yearly extensions.

The company has 25 offshore support vessels in the waterwith four more on order t Norwegian yards.
