Dutch owner Glomar Offshore is preparing to fuel its North Sea vessel fleet with a hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) fuel blend.
The company has signed a deal with its favoured provider Gulf Bunkering for HVO20, a renewable mix of 80% diesel and 20% HVO, which is made from waste vegetable oils and waste and residual flows such as animal fats.
