Swiss based Glacier Reinsurance has failed in a bid to fight a dispute with the Gard insurance group over Gulf of Mexico hurricane losses on its home ground.
A London appeal court has ruled that the dispute should be fought in England as this was just and expedient and avoided the risk that different courts could reach irreconcilable conclusions about related issues.
