New York-listed wind energy player Eneti is about to make good on its promise to order a second wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV) newbuilding at South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard.
While the contract signing is expected based on previous disclosures from the Scorpio Group-backed owner, it will formalise Eneti's expansion as a major global player in the market, with an order for a US Jones Act-compliant WTIV in Texas next on the docket.
