Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO) has swapped in a domestic offshore vessel to replace a foreign-flag ship on charter to Brazil, and it has taken two other foreign flag vessels out of the challenging South American market.
The US offshore vessel owner placed the 11,000-bhp Elizabeth C (built 2008) onto a charter with Chevron, according to the weekly market report of Rio de Janeiro-based broker Westshore do Brasil.
