Anchor handler rates in the North Sea have soared to new heights with one vessel fixed at NOK 1.75m (£197,000 - $311,000) today, another at NOK 1.35m and four others at over NOK 1m.
The market for capable vessels seems to be on a roll with Statoil and BP Norge prepared to pay the highest rates seen for quite some time.
