Dubai-based subsea services player Dulam International has sold the oldest of two dive support vessels that form the backbone of its fleet.
Cash buyer Best Oasis reported on Friday that Dulam’s 3,200-gt Oceanic Installer (built 1984) has been sold for recycling on an as-is basis in Sharjah for a lump sum of $1.6m.
S&P Global’s International Ships Register lists the ship as “to be broken up”.
