Korea's DSME is trying to overturn a ruling in favour of Songa Offshore in a $373m legal row over two rigs.
Songa said it has been served with DSME's application to a UK court where it is seeking permission to appeal the award, which will lead to Songa making a $65.8m counterclaim.
It considers the application was made out of time and that it is unlikely that permission to appeal will be granted, however.
