Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) is being linked with a potential order for several deepwater drilling units.
The shipbuilder is understood to have met with Odfjell Drilling to discuss possible newbuildings, reports TradeWinds’ sister publication Upstream.
It is said to favour the GVA 7500 design of its three sister rigs – Deepsea Stavanger, Deepsea Aberdeen and Deepsea Atlantic – which were all built by DSME.
