The Oslo-listed company bagged a deal with Statoil that willinvolve use of the specialised vessel Geosund.

Over at least four months of this year, Dof will carry out workincluding seabed mapping, pipeline inspection, lay support and assorted light constructionservices in the Norwegian North Sea.

The 10,800-bhp Geosund (built 2001) has performedsimilar work for Statoil in each of the past two years.

Dof has also penned a six-month charter extension for thevessel 14,799-hp Ocean Protector (built 2007) in Australia.

The
