The Brazilian oil company is taking a pair of anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels including a newbuilding.

The Skandi Paraty is one of two 250-tbp vessels due for delivery from Vard’s Brazilian yard towards the end of this year.

Petrobras will keep the 206-tbp Skandi Copacabana (built 2005) for four more years from March when its current deal expires.

Both vessels operate under the banner of Dof's Brazilian subsidiary Norskan which has a fleet of 23 vessels including newbuildings.
