Dof Subsea UK has already bagged a contract for a newbuilding that has yet to hit the water.
The 361-tbp Skandi Skansen will earn £5m ($8m) for 21 days work in the North Sea from the third quarter of this year.
The vessel will provide diverless services for oil and gas company Hess as it decommissions the Ivanhoe/Rob Roy oil field.
It will be one of the first jobs undertaken by the vessel when it hits the water in July.
