Decommissioning work looks set to provide a welcome relief for Malaysia’s hard pressed offshore vessel operator market.
“Decommissioning demand may pick up from 2020, not only in Malaysia but across the region,” said UOB Kay Hian analyst Kong Ho Meng.
“Petronas outlined its 2019-21 outlook for 40-60 well abandonment requirements, and several platform/facilities dismantling per year.”
