The High Court of Bombay in Mumbai has blocked an attempt by Indian offshore services company Samson Maritime to transfer its shares in a wholly owned subsidiary to the offshore arm of Indian port services giant JM Baxi.
The transfer would have seen JM Baxi Marine assume ownership of Underwater Services Company and its offshore vessels.
Underwater is one of only two Indian companies providing operation and maintenance services to single-point moorings installed off the Indian coast.
