Bumi Armada has made a weak start to 2016 with a two-thirds decline in net profit figures released Tuesday show.
The Malaysian FPSO specialist reported net income of MYR 23.4m ($5.7m) against the MYR 72m seen twelve months earlier.
The figures would have been better but for a non-cash impairment charge of MYR 17.9m made against the value of the multi-purpose platform supply vessel Armada Condor (built 1978).
