Norwegian owner Bukser og Berging has boosted its offshore support vessel capacity in a deal with Stig Remoy's Olympic Subsea.
The company has acquired the 16,100-bhp anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel Olympic Octopus (built 2006) and renamed it BB Octopus.
The larger ship replaces the 15,000-bhp BB Troll (built 2000), which has been offloaded into Chile, where buyer Ultratug has renamed it Lenga.
