Oceaneering International has secured an two-year extension of a contract with BP for offshore vessel services of Angola.
The New York-listed offshore engineering company said the deal locks up the 90-metre-long multipurpose support vessel Ocean Intervention III (built 2005) until April 2017, with five one-month extensions.
But the renewal of the broader field support vessel services contract keeps that in place through January 2019, which could lead to employment of other vessels.
